TrueTest Labs provides professional venipuncture services for patients and donors who have received a collection kit from their laboratory — specialty labs, telehealth providers, research studies, and toxicology programs. Our certified phlebotomist, with more than 20 years of blood-drawing experience, performs your draw according to your kit's instructions, packages the specimen per your lab's requirements, and gets you on your way.
Your kit is essential
We draw using the supplies and instructions provided in YOUR lab's kit. We cannot perform your draw without it — we don't substitute tubes or supplies, because your laboratory's kit is validated for their testing. Please bring the complete, unexpired kit including any requisition form, labels, and shipping materials it came with.
Before you come
- Bring your complete collection kit and a photo ID
- Follow any preparation instructions from your lab (fasting, timing, medications) — those requirements come from your lab, not from us
- If your kit includes prepaid return shipping, we'll package your specimen per the kit's instructions; you (or your lab's arrangements) handle the return shipment

Blood draws are by appointment. Schedule online with our booking calendar, or call (847) 258-3966 — either way, have your collection kit information handy, and we'll confirm everything you need to bring along with pricing for your draw.
If your laboratory or kit provider scheduled your appointment for you, you're all set — just bring your complete kit and a photo ID.
TrueTest Labs provides specimen collection services only. Testing is performed by your laboratory. We are not responsible for kit contents, your laboratory's requirements, or carrier transit.
