Family Law & Court Testing

Court-admissible drug, alcohol & DNA testing.

For custody, DUI, criminal, and parentage cases, we help you pick the test that actually answers the question — and tell you what the result will and won't prove in court. Donors test at an accredited site near them, anywhere in the US. Chain-of-custody that holds up is assumed, not the pitch. Serving attorneys since 2010.

Defensible chain of custody

Identity verified, collection documented, custody unbroken — built so the result stands up when opposing counsel pushes on it. Testing is performed by accredited partner laboratories.

From the order to the result

TrueTest has handled thousands of family court collections since 2015. We consult on the order before the test, run the collection to a documented chain of custody, and explain what the result does and doesn't say.

Fast scheduling

Same-week collection in most cases, and a human on the phone who knows your matter — not a ticket queue.

Both parties, one standard

We test both sides the same way and document everything the same way. Neutrality is the point — we answer to the court, not to either party.

New service

Remote video-observed drug testing

For ongoing monitoring when both sides agree that a lab collection every time is more than the situation needs. The donor completes an oral fluid screen at home, at work, or on the road while a TrueTest collector watches on live video. Result during the session. No site visit, no collection fee, and nothing goes to a lab unless the screen is non-negative. Priced by schedule — call for a quote.

Why the other parent agrees to it

  • ✓ Anywhere in the US — home, office, on the road. No site trips.
  • ✓ A fraction of the cost of a court-ordered urine collection at a site — priced by schedule, so frequency is affordable.
  • ✓ You see who tested. Photo ID and the donor are captured together on screen and sent to both parties with every collection — something an in-person collection never gives you.
  • ✓ The collector reads the device, not the donor. A screenshot of the result goes to both parties.
  • ✓ A non-negative reading isn’t a result. It triggers a chain-of-custody urine collection at a site, same day where possible, at standard rates. Only the lab result counts.

What you’re giving up

This is a screen, not a lab test. It gives a yes/no, not a number. No specimen is kept for re-testing. Oral fluid covers a shorter window than urine. Both parties should agree to that trade-off before the first session.

Common fits: parenting plans and consent orders with ongoing monitoring, cases that have moved past the contested phase, and schedules where cost is deciding how often testing happens.
