Family Law & Court Testing

Court-admissible drug, alcohol & DNA testing.

For custody, DUI, criminal, and parentage cases, we help you pick the test that actually answers the question — and tell you what the result will and won't prove in court. Donors test at an accredited site near them, anywhere in the US. Chain-of-custody that holds up is assumed, not the pitch. Serving attorneys since 2010.

Defensible chain of custody

Identity verified, collection documented, custody unbroken — built so the result stands up when opposing counsel pushes on it. Testing is performed by accredited partner laboratories.

Testimony when you need it

Michael Gammel has testified on chain of custody in Chicago-area family court, speaks at ISBA conferences, and serves on an AFCC of Illinois panel. The collector can explain the result on the stand.

Fast scheduling

Same-week collection in most cases, and a human on the phone who knows your matter — not a ticket queue.

Both parties, one standard

We test both sides the same way and document everything the same way. Neutrality is the point — we answer to the court, not to either party.

New service

Remote video-observed drug testing

Donors complete an oral fluid collection at home or office while a TrueTest staff member observes live via video. Immediate screening result. No collection site visit. No collection fee, and no lab fee on a negative.

Why attorneys use it

  • ✓ Donor tests from home or office — anywhere in the US
  • ✓ No collection fee, no lab fee on a negative — significantly lower cost. A positive triggers a lab-confirmed collection at standard rates.
  • ✓ Lower cost makes more frequent testing schedules practical
  • ✓ Immediate screening result during the video session
  • ✓ 5-panel and 10-panel options available

Note: Results are screening results, not lab-confirmed. Best for parenting plans and consent orders requiring ongoing monitoring. Screening tests give a yes/no reading, not a number, and no specimen is retained for re-testing. Oral fluid also covers a shorter recent window than urine. A positive triggers a full chain-of-custody lab collection.
