Blood Draws for Lab-Supplied Collection Kits
Your lab mailed you a kit and told you to find a draw site. Most patient service centers won't touch an outside kit. We will — and we can spin it, pack it, and get it moving.
TrueTest Labs performs venipuncture for patients and donors who received a collection kit from their laboratory — specialty and functional panels, hormone testing, telehealth orders, research studies, and toxicology programs. Our certified phlebotomist, with more than 20 years of experience, draws according to your kit's instructions, processes the specimen as your lab requires, and packages it for return.
Your kit is essential
We draw using the supplies and instructions provided in YOUR lab's kit. We cannot perform your draw without it — we don't substitute tubes or supplies, because your laboratory's kit is validated for their testing. Please bring the complete, unexpired kit including any requisition form, labels, and shipping materials it came with.
Processing, not just the stick
Many kits need more than a draw. Serum tubes have to clot and then be centrifuged within a narrow window; some panels require the specimen to be spun down, separated into aliquots, or kept cold. That processing is where most draw sites turn people away. We have a centrifuge on site and can spin, separate, and hold your specimen as your kit's instructions require.
Return shipping
If your kit came with a prepaid return label, we package the specimen per your lab's instructions and get it to the carrier. You don't need to find a drop-off.
What it costs
$50–$75 for most kits, depending on tube count and processing. We'll confirm the exact fee when you book. Complex handling is quoted individually.
Before you come
- Bring your complete collection kit and a photo ID
- Follow any preparation instructions from your lab (fasting, timing, medications) — those requirements come from your lab, not from us

If your laboratory or kit provider scheduled your appointment for you, you're all set — just bring your complete kit and a photo ID.
TrueTest Labs provides specimen collection services only. Testing is performed by your laboratory. We are not responsible for kit contents, your laboratory's requirements, or carrier transit.
